Premier League giants Manchester United could make another signing almost immediately after the Donny Van De Beek transfer if the report emanating from The Times is anything to go by.
The Red Devils made Dutch international Donny Van De Beek their first major signing of this summer in a £40m deal and the player has penned a contract of five years at Manchester United with the option of another year upon leaving boyhood club Ajax Amsterdam.
Manchester United are in search of a long-term central defensive partner for club skipper Harry Maguire and a highly rated RB Leipzig defender is said to be on their radar.

The 21-year-old recently extended his contract at RB Leipzig with a release clause of £37.5m.
The release clause can only be activated next summer but that has not stopped the Red Devils’ interest with the club keen to sign him this summer for almost the same amount as the previously mentioned release clause.
Dayot Upamecano emerged as one of the best defenders in the Champions League as he led lowly RB Leipzig to the semi-finals.
The young French defender has also been attracting interest from other clubs like Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid amongst others.
