Liverpool fans have been rubbing their hands over the prospect of signing Kylian Mbappe from French champions Paris Saint Germain (PSG) this summer. The young attacker has been a constant name on the Liverpool transfer news column.
The latest transfer report on Kylian Mbappe claimed that Liverpool and other interested parties like Real Madrid and Manchester City will have to raise a world-record fee of £250m to sign the PSG star who has not been able to sign a new deal at the Parc des Princes. His PSG deal will expire at the end of the 2021/22 season.
The aforementioned report stated that Liverpool want to replace Senegalese attacker Sadio Mane with Kylian Mbappe. Real Madrid want to sign Mane from Liverpool and they have already contacted his agent to that effect as the Spaniards are plotting a summer swoop for the former Red Bull Salzburg and Southampton frontman.

Sadio Mane is valued at £150m and Liverpool might need to add as much as £100m to that money to get to the required transfer fee to swoop for Kylian Mbappe. The Mbappe to Liverpool rumours started last year around the time that sportswear giants Nike was confirmed as the next kit supplier for the Reds.
Liverpool have dominated the Premier League this season and they could extend that dominance to the European football stage if they could pull off the signing of Kylian Mbappe this summer. Liverpool had almost wrapped up the league title if not for the indefinite suspension suffered by all sporting and football activities plus the Champions League won last season.
