Arsenal are on the verge of missing out on one of their targets who’s set to join a Premier League team.
Watford midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure is a long-term Arsenal target but he’s set to join Italian manager Carlo Ancelotti at Everton.
Frenchman Doucoure was part of the Watford team that suffered relegation from the Premier League at the end of the last campaign.
The player is keen to remain in the Premier League and Everton are on the verge of making that happen according to popular transfer news specialist Fabrizio Romano.

It was revealed that the Toffees have reached an agreement to sign him for £20m and that add-ons could take the transfer to the £25m mark.
Arsenal were not the only ones previously interested in Abdoulaye Doucoure. French champions and Champions League finalists Paris Saint Germain (PSG) are also long-term admirers of the player.
Everton could have a fresh midfield trio by the time Premier League football resumes with the Merseyside club also closing in on the signings of midfielders Allan and James Rodriguez.
Allan will join Everton from Italian Serie A club Napoli, while Colombian international star James Rodriguez is expected to move to Goodison Park from Real Madrid.
