English Premier League club Arsenal are reported to be set to seal a deal for French Ligue 1 outfit, Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes and that could end theory pursuit of other players.

The Brazilian international had a number of choices, including Serie A outfit Napoli, Man United, and Everton but he chooses to join the North London club with an announcement set to be made after a medial is reported to have been conducted.

This development makes the Gunners dump other targets, one of which is Malang Sarr who is now a free agent after his contract with French Ligue 1 side, Nice already expired.

This gives a major boss to West London outfit, Chelsea as they are a major contender for the signature of the France U-21 centre-back.

Sky Sports presenter Kaveh Solhekol revealed in a tweet on his Twitter account that the Blues are in talks to sign the defender. He explained that Malang Sarr is a free agent and is very much available for sale.

He, therefore, revealed that Malang Sarr will be sent out on loan by the West London outfit if he signs as he will not be ready for a first-team football under manager Frank Lampard.
