The planned overhaul by the North London outfit Arsenal could begin with English defender Rob Holding as he could be heading out to join Newcastle.
Rob Holding started for the Gunners against Liverpool in the Community Shield win on Saturday but that does not mean he will remain at the club as an agreement seems to have been reached with the Magpies for a move to take place in the coming days.

Arsenal already have a new defender with William Saliba and they are set to announce a deal for Brazilian international Gabriel Magalhaes which makes it necessary for one or two defenders to leave the club this window.
The Athletic reports that Rob Holding will be heading to join Newcastle on a season loan, hinting that the terms of the deal will not include an option of a buy at the end of the day.
This hints that the North London club still sees a future with Rob Holding and will seek his development, the reason why he must embark on the loan deal to have regular playing time.
No doubt that with the new additions at the Emirates Stadium, he will be surplus to the requirement without a space in the team.
