Lionel Messi

The news that Lionel Messi will be leaving Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona came to everyone as a shock and surprise but there have been some developments since he told the club he wants to leave.

The Catalans had a very rough season and failed to deliver any title as they were disgraced from the Champions League while they lost the La Liga title to their rivals, Real Madrid.

Of course, Lionel Messi is unhappy with the club and has told them he wants to leave after sending official fax to the club informing them to accept the activation of his release clause.

However, it is being reported that Man United have already held talks with the Argentine’s representatives with Spanish outlet, Sport claiming that Barcelona have conceded that the Old Trafford is a possible destination for the player.

In other news, Sergio Aguero is reported to have dropped the hint that Lionel Messi could be on his way to join Man City after removing the number 10 from his Instagram page.

Sergio Aguero wears the jersey 10 and it could mean he is willing to let go of it go for Lionel Messi as Pep Guardiola would be glad to have the Argentina international in his team.

While the two Manchester clubs are pushing to land Lionel Messi, French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain are also keen to make a deal happen this summer window.
