A former Arsenal manager, Unai Emery has completed the capture of a former Gunners midfielder Francis Coquelin from Valencia for his new team Villarreal.
Unai Emery recently picked up the job with Villarreal some weeks ago and is expected to make some signings that will help his game plan. Fortunately for him, a former Arsenal player is his first capture.
The Spanish manager did not have the opportunity to work with Francis Coquelin at the Emirates Stadium during his reigns as the French midfielder was sold about six months before his arrival.

Francis Coquelin struggled to seal a starting role at Arsenal under former manager Arsene Wenger, the reason why he was sold to the Spanish La Liga outfit, Valencia but they wanted him out because he did not impress.
The French midfielder now has an opportunity to get his career on track again as he emerges as the first signing for the Yellow Submarine after agreeing and arriving on a four-year deal for £11.8m.
Francis Coquelin showed great prospects as a young player at the Emirates Stadium under former French manager but when it was time to take bigger responsibilities, he was found wanting and did not deserve to be left at the club again.
