Spanish La Liga outfit, Barcelona are reportedly keen on the signature of Ajax star Donny van de Beek who is also on the books of Man United for a transfer this summer window.
In a bid to win his signature, the Spanish giants are reportedly willing to offer a bid of £218 million-plus Luis Suarez to Ajax to be able to land the Holland midfielder.
The Catalans struggled in the just-concluded season and failed to deliver any silverware as they were beaten to the La Liga title by Real Madrid, the reason why the club’s coach was sacked.

However, there is a need to rebuild the team with the new manager and former Holland coach, Ronald Koeman hoping to work with his countryman by beating the Red Devils to his signature.
With the Red Devils failing to secure the signature of their major target, and England international winger, Jadon Sancho from German Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, Donny van de Beek will be the next alternative for the club.
Donny van de Beek is being valued for £50 million but Barcelona are looking at the option of spending less by adding a player with a smaller fee to be able to tempt the Ajax.
