Barcelona president block United’s chance of landing Sancho alternative

The president of Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona, Josep Maria Bartomeu has blocked Man United from getting their transfer target, Ousmane Dembele this summer window.
In his interview with Barcelona TV, the club president insisted that the player will not be leaving the club this summer window to Man United.
According to Barcelona president, the French striker is not on the list of those that are to leave the club this summer window because he is still needed despite the injuries he suffered in the course of the season.

The Catalans are making efforts to cut their wage bill as they are being affected by the impacts of the Coronavirus pandemic but that does not mean they will let go of the Man United target.
This development is an irony to the claims by a media publication, Sport via the Manchester Evening News which claims that Dembele, alongside Arturo Vidal, Ivan Rakitic, and Samuel Umtiti will be leaving the club this window.
Man United have identified Ousmane Dembele as an alternative for their major target Jadon Sancho as they are unable to convince German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund to accept their fee. They have been told he will not be leaving the club this summer transfer window.
