Man United have now been handed a major boost as their long-term defensive target, Issa Diop has been told he can leave by West Ham United this summer transfer window.
The Red Devils were linked with the defender in the last summer transfer window but that seems to have been reduced this summer but manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to add defensive options to his team this term and could look that direction.
Issa Diop has been valued by West Ham United for a fee of £45 million and will listen to offers that meet that reduced valuation after they requested for £75 million in the previous summer window.

The Sun reports that the Red Devils could just look that direction as they have lost their target, Nathan Ake to Man City, and will have to bring in defenders to the Old Trafford.
The 23-year-old enjoyed 35 appearances with the Hammers in the just-concluded season and scored three goals with one assist. He is a left-footed defender that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is seeking for.
Issa Diop is a combative player who has the ability to play the ball forward and help the Red Devils attack. This quality will help him form a great partnership with Harry Maguire.
