It would be recalled that a report claimed Gabriel Magalhaes has already had a gentleman agreement with Italian Serie A outfit, Napoli, making Naples his likely destination.
Other reports still go in favour of the English Premier League club as it claimed that the Gunners are willing to hand a better deal to Lille and Gabriel Magalhaes to be able to win the race.
Lille president has already noted that the player will have to make his decision and his destination is expected to be known in the coming days.
This development means the player has his decision to make but Arsenal can still stand the chance if they can be convincing enough.
