Man United have been tipped as frontrunners in the bid to secure the signature of Benoit Badiashile, French Ligue 1 teenage defender this summer transfer window.

Benoit Badiashile has a lot of suitors after impressing this season with West London club; Chelsea also reported to be interested in the service of the 19-year-old.

The French media outlet, Le10sport reports that the Red Devils have already reached an advanced stage in talks for Benoit Badiashile’s signature with Monaco with a deal likely to be sealed in the coming days.

It is also reported by the same medium that Man United are willing to pay £27 million for the 19-year-old centre-back as an agreement has been reached.

Benoit Badiashile is only 19 but has shown great prospects and has been dubbed as “the next Raphael Varane”. He could be graced with a first-team role under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Man United boss is keen to add more depth to his squad and also rebuild his team, especially now that he cannot boast of any title this season.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have called on the club management to support the team with funds as he claimed that they are already being left behind by other big sides and may not be able to compete in the coming season.
