Arsenal’s chances of signing Ghana international midfielder, Thomas Partey has continued to be threatened with developments over the weeks.

The latest to be reported is the interest of the Italian Serie A giants, Juventus in the service of the Atletico Madrid player this summer transfer window.

Thomas Partey is known to be Arsenal’s top target for the summer transfer window with manager Mikel Arteta keen on his signature to add depth to his squad but talks have not been smooth.

Atletico Madrid have already rejected two different approaches by the North London outfit, including in £22.5 million bid plus Matteo Guendouzi, yet there is no headway.

The developments have not moved the Gunners especially as they continued to express confidence in the capture of the midfielder but with the latest development on the interest from Juventus, they could lose the player.

An Italian publication, Corriere dello Sport claims Juventus are will to offer Douglas Costa or Federico Bernardeschi to Atletico Madrid as part of the deal to make their offer weighty.

It is, therefore, unlikely that Atletico Madrid are interested in any swap deal for Thomas Partey as they seek an independent bargain and deal for the Ghanian international midfielder.
