Turkish outfit Fenerbahce are keen to land out-of-favour Arsenal player Mesut Ozil and have returned for another try but this time, they seek to land him on a loan deal.

Mesut Ozil has not been favoured for selection in the Mikel Arteta team since the restart of the league and that has continued to raise speculations and doubt over his future at the Emirates Stadium.

Although, the former Real Madrid playmaker has continued to insist that he would not be leaving the North London club but will wait to see out his existing contract.

The major issue for Arsenal is the £350,000 weekly wage burden for Mesut Ozil that needs to be taken away but the latest report from the Turkish club seems not to provide an answer.

Fenerbahce are reportedly willing to pay Arsenal only £52,000-a-week from the £350,000 to get him on a loan deal this summer transfer window.

This development leaves Arsenal in a more confused state as to whether to let go of the player or to continue keeping him without any utility.

The Gunners spend £18 million a year on the 31-year-old which is huge and makes it a big loss if they cash in nothing from him before he leaves as a free player when his contract expires at the end of next season.
