Chelsea boss Frank Lampard is still hoping that Brazilian international Willian will remain at the club for more seasons by signing a new deal this summer window.
The contract of the 31-year-old is set to come to an end as he has been unable to negotiate new terms with the club. His wish of a three-year-deal might not be granted and that makes him close to the exit door.
Frank Lampard expressed his love for the player, insisting that he wants him to remain at the club but whatever decision is made at the end of the day will be good for both parties.

He admitted knowing nothing about the negotiation between Willian and the club but is sure the right decision would be made in the interest of the two parties.
However, Chelsea have already secured the signature of two forwards, Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech from RB Leipzig and Ajax respectively which means there would be a level of cover for him when he leaves.
North London outfit, Arsenal are already on standby to snap up the signature of the Brazilian international with manager Mikel Arteta very keen to add his experience to his squad ahead of the coming season.
