As expected, some players will have to be shown the way out by manager Mikel Arteta to make room for new recruits as well as make his rebuilding process very effective.

The Gunners had a very disappointing season as they lost their chance of playing in the Champions League. The club is faced with its only opportunity of playing in the Europa League with the FA Cup final game as they finished outside the mark on the log.

Manager Mikel Arteta has, therefore, been urged by an Arsenal legend, Charlie Nicholas to sell three players to be able to begin his rebuilding of the team.

The Arsenal legend mentioned Mesut Ozil, Sokratis, and Shkodran Mustafi as the three players that no longer have a future at the Emirates Stadium.

Mikel Arteta had already made it clear that Sokratis will be shown the way out as he is no longer in the plans for next season while Mustafi will have to join the train if the words of the Arsenal legend are followed to the letter.

However, Mesut Ozil has been an issue in the Arsenal team. He has the highest wage benefit of £350,000- weekly but his contribution to the team has been very low. Efforts to have him leave have failed as he claims to love Arsenal’s stay and has rejected offers for his services.
