Arsenal have been showing interest in German Bundesliga outfit, RB Leipzig defender, Dayot Upamecano since the last summer transfer window with the speculations coming up again for a deal this term.
With the latest report, the North London club may not have their wish to land the defender because he now considers signing a new deal that will keep him with the Bundesliga outfit for more years.
According to the German outlet, Sport Buzzer, the 21-year-old has already held talks with his German club and an agreement has been reached. It claims that an announcement would be made from the Red Bull Arena in the coming days.

Dayot Upamecano’s current deal with the German club expires 2021 but it has a release clause that can have him leave the club anytime it is being activated by any suitor.
This remains a big blow to Mikel Arteta who is considering the option of Dayot Upamecano to bolster his squad ahead of next season’s challenge.
Arsenal suffered poor performance in the just-concluded season and that is already being regretted as there would be no European football, the reason why the Spanish manager is hoping to get things working with new recruits for the coming season.
