There are fears that English Premier League outfits Liverpool and Man United will miss out to secure the signature of highly-rated Lille winger Nicolas Pepe in this summer transfer window.

The Red Devils and Liverpool have long been in the race for the Ivory Coast International, recalling the last January winter transfer window but that is yet to happen.

The latest report have revealed that the two teams might finally miss out on the player after German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich are reported to have joined the race.

The Bundesliga outfit are desperate to land a new attacker and have identified the 24-year old winger as a better option having parted ways with Colombia international James Rodriguez.

Report according to The Sun states that Bayern Munich are ready to pay the sum of 70 million Euros to the French Ligue 1 side which could be difficult to turn down.

However, Bayern Munich will face competition from Spanish La Liga outfit Barcelona as they are also mentioned as suitors for the Star Player.

One thing that remains certain is the fact that Nicolas Pepe will not be at the French Ligue 1 outfit before the summer transfer window shut down.
