Arsenal joined by EPL duo for Barcelona star

North London outfit Arsenal are no longer alone in the chase of France international defender Samuel Umtiti from Spanish La Liga outfit, Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window.
This is not the first time that the Gunners will be showing interest in the World Cup winner but everything seems to be working in their favour at the movement with the player already losing his place in the Catalan team.
The 26-year-old was not favoured for selection by manager Quique Setien’s team and there is no plan for him because he has gone down the pecking order.

In order to save his career, the only option is for the France international to seek a move away from the club and a loan deal is being contemplated upon by the Gunners.
However, it is reported that the North London outfit are not alone in the chase of the player as two other English Premier League clubs, West Ham United and Everton are also keen. This adds to the interests coming from French Ligue 1 clubs, Lyon and Marseille.
Manager Mikel Arteta is keen on rebuilding his team and Samuel Umtiti is believed to have the qualities and experience to make that happen despite being a flop at the Camp Nou this season.
