Former Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor has rallied support for Man United in their bid to land Jack Grealish in this summer transfer window.

The Aston Villa captain is a major target for the Red Devils alongside England international Jadon Sancho from German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund in the coming summer window.

A move is, therefore, being contemplated by Jack Grealish as he is focused on stopping his team from a drop so as to retain their place in the English Premier League for the coming season.

Gabriel Agbonlahor has, therefore, backed the player to make the decision on a move to the Red Devils team, noting that he would have done the same if he were to be in his shoes.

According to him, Jack Grealish deserves to play in the Champions League and will fit better in clubs like Man United and Tottenham. He added that playing in with elite players will help bring the best out of the player.

However, The Red Devils team is focused on securing a Champions League spot before shifting to the recruitment of new players with manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hoping to strengthen to be able to challenge for titles next season.

The speculations linking Jack Grealish to Man United have can now be put to rest following reports that he has signed a new 5-year deal with Aston Villa.

After hoping Aston Villa to avoid relegation last term, Jack Grealish was linked with a move to the Old Trafford with speculations that efforts are being made to snap him up but that did not work out.

Now, it is confirmed that he will be with Aston Villa for more years after penning a long-term deal with the club until 2025 as he is highly valued by the club owners.

Aston Villa owners have shown ambition to bounce back this new season with the decision to keep Jack Grealish as well as bring in other players in this summer transfer window so as to avoid the mistakes of last season.

Jack Grealish has been one of the best on Aston Villa’s book, scoring 10 goals in 41 appearances as a midfielder last season, particularly the goal he scored in the last game of the season.

However, Jack Grealish was never a priority for the Red Devils and now that they have secured the signature of Donny van de Beek, there will be no need for a new addition at the midfield.

The Argentine goalkeeper turned down a new contract from Arsenal and with two years left on his existing deal, the club has decided to cash in on him with Premier League side Aston Villa interested.

In the last few days, another English top flight club said to be Brighton and Hove Albion has joined the race to sign him in addition to Spanish La Liga club Real Betis.

Bernd Leno was the undisputed first choice goalkeeper at Arsenal before his injury led to Emiliano Martinez taking his place. Martinez played the final 11 games of last season and impressed a great deal.

It was revealed that the Gunners shot stopper has agreed on a four-year contract worth £60,000 on a weekly basis with Aston Villa after manager Mikel Arteta failed to give the Argentine first choice assurance.

The 28-year-old was the subject of an initial bid of £10m from Aston Villa. The bid was turned down by the Gunners prompting the Midlands club to make a new offer of  £15m plus add-ons for him that has proven successful in the eyes of the North London club’s hierarchy.

The Gunners have already identified a potential replacement for Emiliano Martinez in Brentford goalkeeper David Raya.

Various reports said that the Gunners made a £10m bid for David Raya which was rejected.

Premier League side Aston Villa have made a second bid for Arsenal goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez as they attempt to bolster their squad for the new season scheduled to start on Saturday.

Aston Villa narrowly escaped relegation from the Premier League last season and manager Dean Smith is keen to avoid a repeat by beefing up his squad for this campaign.

The Midlands club made a first bid of £10m for Emiliano Martinez and that was swiftly rejected by the Gunners.

According to The Athletic, Emiliano Martinez is the subject of a second bid of almost £20m which is said to be the asking price set by Arsenal. It remains to be seen whether the new bid will be convinced enough for the Gunners.

Diogo Dalot

Aston Villa are reportedly considering the signature of Man United stars Diego Dalot and Sergio Romero ahead of the coming season.

Dean Smith’s team were only lucky to escape relegation in the just-concluded season and will now seek to bolster their squad to be able to challenge in the coming season.

With the future of the two Man Unite stars uncertain, Daily Star reports that Aston Villa will make an attempt to land them this summer transfer window by submitting a bid.

Man United will be looking at offloading some of their players to be able to make room for newcomers as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer plans to rebuild his team for next season’s challenge.

The Red Devils failed to deliver any title in the just-concluded season which remains a major challenge to the club boss. He is desperate to change the narrative by bringing in fresh legs to the team.

England international winger Jadon Sancho was the major target for the Red Devils but they failed to convince German Bundesliga outfit on reducing the fee for his signature.

It has been a very slow transfer window for the Red Devils but there are suggestions that a lot of deals will be concluded before the close of the summer.

Aston Villa have splashed a £70 million tag on their midfielder, Jack Grealish and that is too high for Man United to pay but they may resolve in player exchange to be able to land him.

The coronavirus has hit Man United like other clubs and they will not be able to pay such a high fee for the player that helped his team escape relegation in the last game of the season.

However, reports in England claims that Man United could offer three players to Aston to be able to match the valuation with Daily Mail reporting that the Red Devils are keen to complete the deal before the end of the summer transfer window.

With Aston Villa reportedly under pressure to sell Jack Grealish to be able to cash in, it is uncertain if they will accept the offer from the Red Devils.

However, it is claimed that Man United could offer Dean Henderson or Sergio Romero to Aston Villa as one of the goalkeepers might be made to leave the club this summer window.

Diogo Dalot has been mentioned several times as part of the players that could leave Man United this summer window. He might be offered to Aston Villa to be able to convince them about releasing Jack Grealish as well as reduce £70 million asking price.

Man United are reportedly still interested in the signature of Aston Villa midfielder, Jack Grealish and are preparing for talks with the club before the end of the summer transfer window.

The Daily Mirror claims the Red Devils will not give up on Grealish as the club are reluctant to leave him after helping them avoid relegation in the just-concluded season.

This, therefore, means that United will have to step up their interest in the service of Jack Grealish by opening talks with the club.

Aston Villa co-owner Nassef Sawiris has placed a Prohibitive £80 million asking price on Jack Grealish and that will be the major challenge for the Red Devils as they value him for a lesser fee.

Jack Grealish is one of the top targets for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Jadon Sancho, and he is bent to make a deal for him happen this summer window.

Man United are yet to begin their summer transfer activities as they are yet to agree on a deal with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, the reason why they have been slow with their proposed deals.

However, the Red Devils are expected to make some announcements in the coming weeks.
