It is feared that the English Premier League club Liverpool will no longer land the signature of Kai Havertz from German Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen because the player already has his reservation.

After clinching the signature of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech, the West London outfit are still out in the summer market to land more players and have picked Kai Havertz has their focus.

However, it is reported that Kai Havertz will not give his nod for a move to the Stamford Bridge if the Blues fail to secure a Champions League spot despite being very interested.

With just two games left to the end of the English Premier League, The West Londoners are sitting third with 63 points but their place is yet to be sealed as they are just a point above Leicester City and Man United who have 62 points each and are also very keen.

Should the Blues fail to finish in their current position or outside the top four, they will have to forget the Bayer Leverkusen player, according to Bleacher Report journalist Dean Jones.

The journalist noted that Kai Havertz wants to have the English Premier League experience but will not sacrifice it for a Champions League experience.
