A number of English Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool have been linked with Brazilian international Coutinho in the summer transfer window but their reported interest might have hit the wall.
Should Coutinho obey the words of former Barcelona star Rivaldo, he would be returning to the Camp Nou in the coming season to start life afresh.
The former Liverpool man has been urged to return back to the Catalans and prove himself again; stressing that he has the quality to succeed at Camp Nou.

Coutinho is currently with Bundesliga club Bayern Munich on loan after he could not win appearances at Barcelona but the situation has not been any better as he struggles to secure playing time with the German giants.
He is now tipped to leave Germany for a new life elsewhere, with a return to Liverpool suggested as well as reported interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.
However, Coutinho has been told by Rivaldo to step up and show the great player he is, adding that his quality made him excel in England with Liverpool and that could be applied in Spain with a strong mentality.
Meanwhile, it is unlikely that Barcelona will seek to bring back the Brazilian international instead, they would place him on the market to raise some funds for their intended summer transfer deals.
