What has been untold over Willian’s transfer speculation is the fact that he is not interested in leaving the West London outfit while Frank Lampard is still a big fan of the Brazilian and doesn’t want to see him out yet.
The Blues boss has now come out to state that he is still fighting hard to convince Willian on a new deal at the club.
Willian is insisting on a 3-year deal while Chelsea who are only ready to hand him 2 years because of the club’s policy on players who are more than 30 years of age.
Frank Lampard has made it clear that he will only be wishing Willian the best in his career if he eventually fails to agree with the club but efforts will be put in place to convince him for more years at the Stamford Bridge.
