Champions League: What Willian Did Before Barkley Missed Penalty For Chelsea vs Valencia
Chelsea winger Willian could not hide his frustration after Ross Barkley was given the responsibility of taking the penalty earned during the Champions League game at home to Spanish La Liga giants Valencia on Tuesday night.
The Blues were awarded a penalty in the 87th minute after VAR check which would have given Chelsea a point from their opening Champions League game of the season upon conversion.
At that point, visitors Valencia were leading 1-0 as a result of the strike from Rodrigo on 74 minutes.
Before Ross Barkley took the penalty, the visibly annoyed Willian stopped to pull his socks up in front of the England international.
In the end, Ross Barkley missed that penalty as he struck it against the crossbar.

The former Everton trainee would have won a point for his team if he was successful from Chelsea.
The Blues ended their return to the Champions League in defeat.
Chelsea were also handed a big problem on the injury front.
The Blues might be without young midfielder Mason Mount for some time after he sustained an ankle injury during the Valencia game.
Mason Mount was on for 16 minutes before he succumbed to the ankle injury and was replaced by the more experienced Pedro Rodriguez.
