Chelsea winger Willian has been advised to join Italian Serie A champions Juventus from the Premier League giants.

The Brazilian international was told to leave Chelsea for Juventus by his former manager at Shakhtar Donetsk, Mircea Lucescu.

According to Mircea Lucescu, his style of play fits perfectly with the Old Lady.

Mircea Lucescu discussed Willian, Chelsea and Juventus in an exclusive interview with Italian news publication Tuttosport.

According to him, his Chelsea contract is coming to an end and the 31-year-old should consider a move to Juventus where he will link up with Maurizio Sarri.

Italian tactician Sarri managed him at Chelsea last season and his Juventus side has been linked with a swoop for Willian who has less than a year left on his Blues’ deal.

Willian had previously been linked with major European clubs like Paris Saint Germain (PSG), Barcelona and Atletico Madrid but Chelsea were adamant that he’s not for sale.

Despite the short length of his remaining contract at Chelsea, Willian has emerged as a key player for new manager Frank Lampard as the Blues continue to impress in the Premier League.

Chelsea have won their last six games in the Premier League and are up to third position on the league table.
