Spanish striker Alvaro Morata has stated that he is now happier than he used to be when he was at the Stamford Bridge as a Chelsea player.
Alvaro Morata scored a brace against Real Sociedad to help his current side Atletico Madrid in the Spanish La Liga. He has not been seen in such form for a long time.
The former Real Madrid striker joined the La Liga outfit in January this year during the winter transfer window on a loan deal after he found life difficult under manager Maurizio Sarri.
Suggestions are that he was practically pushed out of the West London outfit by the Italian manager who repeatedly expressed love for Gonzalo Higuain and ensured he joined the club as well.
So far, Alvaro Morata has now scored three goals in two games having scored one in the previous game to hand hope to his 18-month loan spell at the Spanish capital.
This is the reason why Alvaro Morata said he is happier at the moment because he had a bad time in the past but he has now adapted to life at Madrid, admitting that he was being helped by his teammates.
However, Atletico Madrid are now seven points behind league leaders Barcelona in the La Liga table.
