West London outfit Chelsea are hoping that the transfer ban would be successfully appealed so as to do some business in the coming summer transfer window which is the reason why they are making moves for players.
The Blues were told they will not be allowed to register new players in the next two transfer windows for securing deals with minors against the FIFA rules. The club have vowed to appeal the ban but is unsure if it would be successful.
However, there are efforts to equip the defense ahead of the new season and attention has been paid to Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly but there are signs that he would not be released to the English Premier League outfit.
This made the Blues to make inquiry for Italian Serie A outfit AC Milan defender Alessio Romagnoli who is believed to be worth £51.6 million which Chelsea is willing to pay.
But AC Milan have made it clear as well that the layer would not be released any time as they are not willing to listen to any offers as their captain.
The San Siro outfit made it clear that they do not care about the rumor as they are only concerned about the fact that he is happy at the club and not seeking a move away.
