How Marcos Rojo could influence United summer transfer plans

Man United are waiting to know the fate of Marcos Rojo on his future at the Old Trafford to be able to decide on bringing a replacement for a left full-back position or not.

Marcos Rojo spent the second half of the season away from the Old Trafford on loan at Estudiantes, and it is unclear if they will be keeping him on a permanent basis.

The Athletic reports that Man United already have Marcos Rojo’s name on their transfer list, hoping that other clubs will buy him even if he doesn’t extend his stay at Estudiantes. There are indications that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will seek other options to make use of in the coming season.

Victor Lindelof has been partnering with Harry Maguire in the Red Devils defence but their performance has not been convincing enough to stop Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from doing some deals in the summer transfer window.

The Red Devils boss is keen on winning titles and competing next season, the reason why he will seek to storm the summer transfer market for new additions in the team with a defender as a top priority after their major target, Jadon Sancho from German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund.
