Spanish manager Mikel Arteta has been given the opportunity to land his first title as Arsenal boss with emerging reports over the Community Shield, and It is now left for him to take it or not.
Currently, the Gunners team only have the FA Cup as their chances of winning a title and they are nowhere close to being favourites but another opportunity could present itself for free as they could be named as the team to face Liverpool either winning the FA Cup or not.
Let it be noted that the Community Shield is usually played between the winner of the FA Cup and the winner of the English Premier League title but the new UEFA arrangement could affect it.

The Europa League final has been scheduled for August 21 and Champions League two days after. Man United, Man City, and Chelsea are all suspected to be part of it and are as well, involved in the FA Cup semi-final.
However, the Community Shield is a week after the Europa League final after it was scheduled for August 30 and the FA is not ready for any compromise of the date. This means that any team that wins the FA Cup and goes far in any of the European competitions will not be able to take part in it.
The FA is, therefore, considering inviting the most successful team in the Community Shield history for the finals against Liverpool, which is the North London outfit as they have won it 15 times in their history.
Arteta won it twice at Arsenal as a captain in 2014 and 2015. He could just help deliver it again as a manager in 2020.
