The 21-year-old is one of the brightest prospects in the English Premier League and has been tipped to step into the shoes of Chelsea legend John Terry. He has also been tipped to be a success at the Stamford Bridge but that may not happen if he remains with West Ham United.
According to ESPN, Rice’s contract expires in 2024, with an added option for an extra year. Only time will tell if he will see out his terms with the club.
However, suggestions are that the Hammers will not be able to keep Declan Rice if they eventually get relegated as they just four points above the zone.
Declan Rice has been valued for £70 million and Chelsea, who are favoured ahead of Man United are believed to be ready for the investment.
