It was earlier alleged that Liverpool hierarchy is not interested in signing any new player to the team after the dominance they enjoyed this season to have won the English Premier League title with seven games to spare.

The reports claim that the Reds chiefs are confident that the current team led by manager Jurgen Klopp can still beat any competition in the coming season, although, this has never been the wish of the German manager.

In a major twist, manager Jurgen Klopp could be having his way with the latest reports that the club is already in advance talks with Bayern Munich for the signature of midfielder Thiago Alcantara, according to Sport.

It is claimed that Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of the Spanish midfielder right from his time at Borussia Dortmund and will seek to work with him at Anfield.

The German outfit have splashed a £31 million on the player but Liverpool are hoping they can beat it down in the negotiation.

Jurgen Klopp had already noted that clubs like Chelsea and Man United are doing enough to overtake in the coming season by signing new players. He, therefore, wishes to do the same despite winning the title this season.

Liverpool ended their 30 years wait by winning the EPL, a year after winning the Champions League.
