One of the major transfer news this week is the reported interest of Premier League giants Manchester United in Declan Rice. England international Rice is on the payroll of fellow English top flight side West Ham United.
Manchester United have been linked with the £70m swoop for Declan Rice this summer as doubts continue over the future of Paul Pogba at the club. French international Pogba hardly featured for the Red Devils before the current season was suspended because of Coronavirus.
Pogba’s time at Manchester United might be up this summer and several months after he talked about leaving the club. The former Juventus midfielder had talked about his desire to leave Old Trafford during a Tokyo tour for ambassadorial company Adidas in June but his exit was almost impossible last summer due to his high price tag plus huge weekly wages.

He has two years left on his contract and Manchester United would prefer to sell him this summer to raise a very good transfer fee if they can’t get him to sign a new deal rather than wait till next summer when he has just one year left or the summer of 2021 when he would be a free agent.
His exit from Manchester United this summer would have been almost disastrous but the January signing of the impressive Bruno Fernandes has changed that. A lot of midfield replacements for Paul Pogba have been discussed in the media in the past few weeks and the aforementioned Declan Rice is a big part of that discussion.
Rice burst onto the scene at West Ham United around two years ago and he has been linked with the biggest English clubs including since then.
The financial effect of Coronavirus on football business is still largely unknown at this point but it looks like West Ham United will be ready to do business with Manchester United or any other club as long as they are ready to pay the transfer fee for their prized asset Declan Rice.
Transfer Ratings for Declan Rice to Manchester United: 5/10.
