Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed the identity of the man behind transfers at the club.

The club legend made the revelation while fielding questions from reporters during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the Watford clash at Vicarage Road later this weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said that he has the final say on who the club signs and that players can join or leave Manchester United without his knowledge.

Solskjaer and Manchester United are expected to boost their squad with new players in January.

Several players have been linked with the Red Devils who want to bolster their squad in midfield and in attack.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United want to sign at least two players next month.

It was further revealed that they want a striker and a defensive midfielder, while the chase for a goalscoring midfielder will have to wait till the season ends.

Red Bull Salzburg striker Erling Haaland and RB Leipzig forward Timo Werner are two of the several attackers linked with Manchester United ahead of next month.
