One of the biggest news from the last two days is the reported interest of Real Madrid in Liverpool forward Sadio Mane who has been in sensational form for the Reds throughout the course of this season.
Sadio Mane had lived in the shadows of fellow African/Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah for the last two seasons before the Senegalese international became the go-to man for Liverpool in this campaign. His form has propelled the Reds to record sensational records in the Premier League this season.
Before the current league season was suspended indefinitely because of the dreaded virus known as Coronavirus, Mane and Liverpool had amassed a record 82 points from the possible 87 points plus a 25-point lead over defending champion Manchester City in second position having played a game more.

Sadio Mane has contributed 14 goals and seven assists to the Liverpool cause in the Premier League this season as the Reds attempt to win a first league title in three decades. His form made his a strong contender for the PFA Player of the Year Award alongside the likes of Manchester City star Kevin De Bruyne and Liverpool teammate/skipper Jordan Henderson.
The downside to his form for Liverpool is that it will attract the big boys from Spain in the form of Real Madrid and Barcelona. Liverpool fans have been down this road a couple of times in the last few years.
Liverpool lost the services of Luis Suarez to Barcelona after his stellar campaign for the Reds during the 2013/14 before losing Philippe Coutinho to the same club some years later. Sadio Mane could also move from Liverpool to the Spanish league but in this case, Real Madrid.
The Los Merengues want to sign Mane this summer and it remains to be seen whether the head of the player will be turned by the interest from the 13-time European champions.
Transfer Ratings: Sadio Mane to Real Madrid 3/10.
