EPL table toppers Liverpool have been boosted by the news that they can sign one of their top transfer targets for this summer in a deal that would see them pay less money for him.
Liverpool have made RB Leipzig attacker Timo Werner their top transfer target for this summer as manager Jurgen Klopp tries to build their attack for the new season which starts after the 2020 European Championships this summer.
Klopp and Liverpool are expected to win the league title and they are not ready to rest on their laurels.
To this effect, they want to sign Timo Werner from RB Leipzig who are in a big battle with the likes of Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich for the German Bundesliga title this season.
Liverpool need just four wins from their last 11 league games to be crowned champions for the first time in the league in three decades.
The Reds would also be bagging their first Premier League title ever.

Timo Werner has been flirting with the idea of Liverpool in recent interviews as he said that he was flattered by the interest of the Reds in him before adding that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is the best manager in the world.
The petite German international was said to have a €50m release clause in his present RB Leipzig deal and that Liverpool were trying to do a deal for him before that clause expires in April.
Recent reports have revealed that the release clause is €20m less and that Liverpool could sign him for a paltry sum of €30m for a striker of his calibre.
According to Sport1, the release clause is less than first thought.
Timo Werner has scored 21 goals plus six assists in 23 German Bundesliga games for his team this term in addition to four Champions League goals.
