West London club Chelsea are said to have  offered a swap deal for one of the best goalkeepers in the Spanish La Liga ahead of this summer.

According to Spanish media outlet El Chiringuito TV, Chelsea have offered €30m plus Kepa Arrizabalaga to Atletico Madrid in their bid to sign Jan Oblak from the Spanish capital club.

Jan Oblak is widely regarded as one of the best shot stoppers in the Spanish La Liga and he has been instrumental to the successes recorded by his club in recent seasons.

The Slovenian international goalkeeper is one of the top goalkeepers on the European football stage and he’s widely renowned for his shot stopping abilities.

He has been linked with the Premier League [EPL] in previous transfer windows with clubs like Arsenal and Manchester United.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has decided that first choice Kepa Arrizabalaga is not good enough and that the Spaniard will be sold this summer.

Kepa Arrizabalaga had one of the worst stats for a Premier League goalkeeper this season before club legend Frank Lampard decided to drop him from his starting XI for the away game at Leicester City in the league and he has not regained that number one spot since that game which ended in a 2-2 draw with Chelsea centre back Antonio Rudiger netting twice for his team.

38-year-old Willy Caballero was the Chelsea back-up goalkeeper until that Leicester City match when he was promoted to the starting XI.

Ex-Argentine shot stopper Caballero has stayed in the Chelsea starting XI since that day and he was in goal for the Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

Willy Caballero conceded three goals in the second half as Chelsea were convincingly beaten 3-0 at home by the German champions in the first leg of their last 16 tie.
