Manchester United have made a stunning loan bid for Algerian national team player Islam Slimani who has asked French giants AS Monaco to release him.
Islam Slimani is on loan at AS Monaco from Leicester City for the entire duration of the 2019/20 season having joined the former French champions at the start of this campaign.
According to the Daily Mail, Islam Slimani wants to end his loan spell at AS Monaco to join Manchester United on a short-term deal until this summer for just £4m.
The loan transfer for him would see him return to the Premier League.

Manchester United need a new striker to add more firepower to their frontline and Islam Slimani is a very good option for that role though there are still doubts over his suitability to the Premier League.
Slimani didn’t live up to the expectations required of him during his time at Leicester City who are still his parent club.
He was loaned to Newcastle United and Fenerbahce before the loan transfer to Monaco last summer.
He has scored seven goals and seven assists in 13 league games at Monaco.
Islam Slimani will also give Manchester United a new dimension in their attack. No one in Manchester United has his qualities especially his aerial ability.
