Arsenal are still sweating on the situation of club skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang who has a little over one year to run on his Gunners contract.

Aubameyang became an Arsenal in a record deal in January 2018 after signing for the North London giants from German Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund.

The 30-year-old Gabonese attacker signed a three-and-a-half year deal at Arsenal who made a move for him as a replacement for Chilean international attacker Alexis Sanchez.

Aubameyang replaced Alexis at the Emirates Stadium after the ex-Barcelona and Udinese star pitched his tent with the Red Devils in a swap deal.

The Arsenal skipper has been a consistent goalscorer for his team since joining, and he’s not short of suitors with his contract situation at the club.

Aubameyang recently debunked those transfer rumours of a move away from Arsenal but nothing is certain until he pens a new deal. The Gunners might need to sell him this summer with one year left on his contract if he does not sign a new deal.

Manchester United and Barcelona have been mentioned as a possible destination for the former Saint Etienne star in recent months. He has been the only consistent goalscorer at Arsenal this season save for teenage attacker Gabriel Martinelli.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has scored 14 goals in the Premier League this term plus two more goals from the Europa League. Let’s take a look at the three potential clubs for him:

1. Manchester United

The Red Devils were linked with Aubameyang especially after the exit of Romelu Lukaku last summer. They have signed Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo on a short-term deal.

2. Barcelona

The Spanish champions need to sign a new striker this summer with first-choice attacker Luis Suarez in the twilight of his career and Aubameyang could be their man though the Gabonese international is just two years younger than Suarez.

3. PSG

The French giants might need a new striker like Aubameyang with Edinson Cavani expected to leave the club on a free transfer later this year.
