Arsenal are reportedly set to secure the signing of another player before the end of this January window.
Southampton defender Cedric Soares is expected to complete a loan move to Arsenal today according to the Daily Echo.
It would be the second signing for this winter transfer window at Arsenal after Pablo Mari.
The Spanish center-back has completed a loan move to Arsenal from Brazilian club Flamengo and Cedric Soares is expected to follow suit.
Arsenal have paid around £4m for the loan signing of Pablo Mari as per various media outlets in the United Kingdom (UK).

Pablo Mari is a left-sided center-back who shone for Flamengo last year upon joining them from Premier League champions Manchester City.
He won two titles with Flamengo at the end of 2019.
Mikel Arteta has moved to strengthen his defence this month with the addition of Pablo Mari and the imminent arrival of Cedric Soares from Southampton.
Portuguese international Cedric has six months left on his Saints contract and the Gunners will pay around £5m for him to join them on loan with the option to sign him on a permanent deal.
He has an injury at the moment but the right-back is expected to return to action by next month.
