Liverpool need eight wins from the last 14 games to become a Premier League title winner for the first time in a very long while and they can get one of those wins when they host in-form Southampton at home this weekend.
The Reds are without any form of league title in three decades but they are close to ending that drought.
Liverpool have put themselves in a fantastic situation to end that league title drought on the back of 23 wins and one draw from 24 Premier League matches.
Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has some injury worries ahead of the home game with the Saints.

Earlier this week, Jurgen Klopp confirmed that star forward Sadio Mane will miss both the West Ham United and Southampton games as a result of the muscle injury sustained during the penultimate league game at Wolves which ended in a 2-1 win for the Reds.
Mane missed the 2-0 away win over the Hammers and his spot was taken by Divock Origi who went off with cramp as confirmed by Jurgen Klopp.
Origi is expected to be fit to continue his role which is to deputise for the injured Mane.
