Arsenal have received a double injury boost ahead of their league game at Burnley this weekend.
The Gunners released an injury update on Friday morning ahead of the Burnley game at Turf Moor on Sunday afternoon.
The injury update revealed that the defensive duo of Sead Kolasinac and Shkodran Mustafi are in contention for the Burnley game.
The two defenders were not expected to make the Burnley game as the Newcastle United league clash at home after the winter break was more realistic.
Sead Kolasinac has not played for Arsenal since the Crystal Palace game in the Premier League earlier this month after he sustained a thigh injury during that game.

The Bosnian international has shown remarkable progress in the last week and could feature against hosts Burnley this weekend.
On his part, Shkrodan Mustafi was stretchered off earlier this week after his ankle problem during the Bournemouth game in the FA Cup fourth round.
That ankle injury sustained by Mustafi on Monday night is not as serious as first feared and he could be in the Arsenal squad for the Burnley game.
Arsenal defender David Luiz and star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are both back for the Arsenal game after their respective suspensions.
