Arsenal have made their second signing of this January transfer window following the transfer of Cedric Soares from Premier League side Southampton.
Portuguese national team player Cedric Soares becomes the Gunners’ second signing of this month after Spanish defender Pablo Mari.
Arsenal signed Pablo Mari from Brazilian club Flamengo earlier this week.
The Spaniard has joined the Gunners on loan for the rest of this season with the option of a permanent transfer after the loan deal.
Arsenal have paid £4m for the loan deal of Pablo Mari from Flamengo with the option to sign him permanently for £8m.

For Cedric Soares, he had six months left on his Southampton contract before Arsenal decided to take him on loan for that duration.
The 28-year-old will sign for the Gunners permanently in the summer if he has a successful loan spell at the Emirates Stadium.
Cedric Soares is injured at the moment but he’s expected to return to action after the winter break next month.
The Portuguese right-back will provide competition for that slot with first choice Hector Bellerin who just returned from a long layoff.
Bellerin has played the last two games in all competitions for Arsenal including the Chelsea game which saw him score the second equalizer in a 2-2 draw.
