Premier League club Chelsea have not made any first-team signing in this transfer window but that could be about to change with the Blues interested in Napoli attacker Dries Mertens.
According to Football London, Chelsea can sign Dries Mertens for just £8m this month since he has six months remaining on his Napoli contract or wait till the summer to secure his signing on a free transfer.
Dries Mertens was previously linked with fellow Premier League club Arsenal.
Chelsea manager Frank Lampard wants to sign a new attacker to boost his team and 33-year-old Mertens could be the man for the job.

The Blues have struggled for goals in recent games in the Premier League and Lampard is keen to address that before the transfer window shuts on Friday night.
Frank Lampard and Chelsea have been too dependent on Tammy Abraham who recently suffered a slight injury in the last league game at home to Arsenal.
Tammy Abraham has been the main striker at Chelsea this season and he has lacked strong competition for that role as Lampard doesn’t really fancy the other striker options at the club like Belgian national team player Michy Batshuayi and French striker Olivier Giroud.
