Premier League table-toppers Liverpool have already contacted the agent of Nice wonderkid Pedro Brazao over a potential transfer this month.
This is according to the Daily Mirror via one of its publications as the Reds try to steal a march on their rivals in the bid to sign the 17-year-old winger.
European sides like Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Sporting Lisbon are also interested in the player who has made one appearance for French club Nice this season.
Popular media outlet Foot Mercato had earlier revealed that the Reds and PSG have made contact with the player.

Pedro Brazao could be the third signing for Liverpool this month though that depends on the agreement with Nice since the player has a long-term contract at the club until 2023.
Liverpool are keen to move swiftly in the transfer window to sign Pedro Brazao ahead of the other clubs.
The Reds adopted a similar strategy for Japanese international Takumi Minamino whom they signed at the start of this month.
Liverpool were able to sign the Japanese attacker ahead of arch-rivals Manchester United before they added Joe Hardy to their ranks from Brentford.
Joe Hardy has joined the Liverpool u23 team upon his transfer.
