Premier League surprise team Sheffield United have been rocked with the news that North London giants Arsenal are interested in one of their best players.

Sheffield United are in their first season back in the Premier League after more than a decade in the lower leagues and they have more than punched above their weight in seventh position on the league table at the moment.

The Blades have been in very good form under the guidance of manager Chris Wilder and midfielder John Fleck has been one of the best players in the team this season.

John Fleck is attracting serious interest from Arsenal according to Football Insider and he could be available for £20m.

The 28-year-old midfielder showed his quality as a goalscoring midfielder after he netted the equalizer for the Blades during their Premier League trip to Arsenal at the weekend in a game that ended in a 1-1 draw after Brazilian and Arsenal attacker Gabriel Martinelli had given his team the lead.

John Fleck has 18 months left on his Sheffield United contract and that makes the club vulnerable to the Arsenal interest in the player.

Arsenal are a bigger club too and they can offer him a better salary package in addition to him having the chance of achieving more at the North London club.

John Fleck is the joint topscorer for Sheffield United in the Premier League with five goals.
