Manchester United and Chelsea are likely to be bypassed when it comes to the signing of Paris Saint Germain (PSG) striker Edinson Cavani according to his father.
Luis Cavani gave an update on the future of Edinson Cavani at PSG in his latest interview monitored by El Chringuito TV.
According to him, he wants Edinson Cavani to move to Spain when the Uruguayan international star leaves PSG this year though it is uncertain when the striker will leave the French club.
He wants him to join Atletico Madrid who have already made a bid for him as they attempt to sign the ex-Napoli and Palermo star in this January window.

Atletico Madrid made a €10m bid for Cavani and it was rejected by PSG as confirmed by their sporting director Leonardo.
Edinson Cavani has six months to go on his PSG contract but the French club don’t want him to leave until this summer when he’ll be a free agent.
The 32-year-old PSG striker has spent a large part of this season on the bench due to the form of Mauro Icardi who joined the club on loan from Inter Milan last summer.
Edinson Cavani has scored 198 goals in 292 PSG games.
