According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal have concluded plans to triple the salary of sensational attacker Gabriel Martinelli to ward off the interest of the Spanish club Real Madrid.
Real Madrid are said to be weighing up a £50m move for the young Arsenal player who has a long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium until 2024.
Gabriel Martinelli has been a revelation for the Gunners this season since his £7m transfer from Ituano in his native Brazil.
The young attacker was playing lower league football in Brazil before Arsenal swoop in on him.
Martinelli is the second topscorer in the Arsenal team with 10 goals in all competitions.

The 10 goals have been in just 11 starts this season.
The 18-year-old has played 21 games for the Gunners since his transfer to North London last summer.
He earns £10,000 on a weekly basis and Arsenal are ready to triple his salary to £30,000 per week.
Gabriel Martinelli has taken his chance in the team after he replaced the suspended club skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in the team.
Aubameyang was suspended after his red card during the London Derby clash with hosts Crystal Palace in the Premier League earlier this month.
Gabriel Martinelli has scored two goals in two league games since replacing Aubameyang.
