Merseyside giants Liverpool can take a step closer to their first ever Premier League title when they face arch rivals Manchester United at home in the standout game of the latest set of Premier League games (Matchday 23).

Liverpool vs Manchester United is one of the traditional games of English football. The two clubs have 38 league titles between them.

Manchester United have the most league titles in English football with 20 titles, while Liverpool have 18 league titles.

Liverpool are on course for their 19th title and a first league title in the Premier League era.

The Reds have not won a league title in 30 years since the 1989/90 campaign but that drought is close to ending due to their healthy lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Liverpool have recorded 61 points in just 21 games and they are 14 points better than the next team which is Manchester City.

The Reds have a perfect record of 11 wins from the 11 league games played at home ahead of the game with Manchester United at Anfield later this weekend.

Liverpool XI vs Manchester United (4-3-3): Alisson Becker; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Virgil Van Dijk, Andy Robertson; Georginio Wijnaldum, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Jordan Henderson; Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.
