Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement to sign Paris Saint Germain (PSG) defender Laryvin Kurzawa.

This is according to the publication via France Football which disclosed that the Gunners have agreed a deal for the French international left-back to join them in the summer.

Laryvin Kurzawa has six months left on his PSG contract meaning that he’ll become a free agent this summer thus allowing him to join Arsenal on a free transfer at the end of this campaign.

Earlier reports had claimed that the Gunners will sign the former AS Monaco player in this January transfer window.

Respected British journalist David Ornstein talked about negotiations between Arsenal and the French player.

Arsenal have a lot of defensive injuries at the moment and new manager Mikel Arteta has talked about the need to strengthen his squad on the defensive front.

Calum Chambers is a versatile defender but the England international won’t play for Arsenal again after he underwent knee surgery at the end of last month.

He has been ruled out till next season as a result of his knee injury.

Apart from Calum Chambers, fellow defenders Sead Kolasinac, Kieran Tierney, Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin have all had various injury issues this season.
