Manchester United Are Closing In On Bruno Fernandes Transfer
Manchester United are on the verge of making their first signing of this January transfer window as reported by Fox Sports.
The Red Devils want to sign Sporting Lisbon player Bruno Fernandes whom club manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer watched earlier this year during the recent game against FC Porto.
It was stated that the deal could set Manchester United back to the tune of $100m (£55m) and that the transfer could be one of seven big deals in the ongoing winter transfer market.
Bruno Fernandes signed a new contract at Sporting Lisbon last year and that took his release clause to the £85m mark but Manchester United are hopeful of getting the deal over the line for less money.

Tottenham Hotspur have also been credited with an interest in the 25-year-old Portuguese international player who was part of the team that won the first edition of the UEFA Nations League in 2019 under the watchful eyes of manager Fernando Santos.
He is expected to be part of the Portugal squad to the European Championships later this year.
Bruno Fernandes is a goalscoring midfielder as proven by his numbers in front of goal in the last two seasons.
He scored 32 goals for Sporting Lisbon in the last campaign.
